"The thing about Mumbai is you go five yards and all of human existence is revealed. It's an incredible cavalcade of life, and I love that."
Julian Sands

Since my last time in India, I've been itching to come back. There is something about this country, these people that continuously draw me back in. It takes up residence in your heart and a corner of your mind. I've been lucky enough to see many of the world's biggest metropolises, but none have captured my soul like Mumbai. There is life in every corner, every crack, every crevice. From food stalls to the slums to some of the wealthiest places in India, there is never a dull moment. As I rode the train from one end to the other, I watched life, in all her forms, pass me by. I watched those commuting to work, those who work on the train, the mothers bathing their children and those wandering as I am. The history is rich, the colours vibrant, and the people amazing.

As usual, I met some amazing people while In Mumbai. I ended up meeting up with a friend from Instagram who took me and a girl from my hostel to see sunrise over the skyline of Mumbai. Incredible. Mumbai is the definition of a sprawling city. And I loved every second of it.

Here are a few photos of from my time in Mumbai.
