The Strategy

The Lucy on Earth brand identity emerged from their tagline 'hands in the dirt, head in the clouds.' This dichotomy inspired every aspect of the design - from the retro-futuristic typography that challenges conventional herbalist aesthetics, to the symbolic spiral mark that represents nature's eternal cycles. By intentionally moving away from the expected earth-toned, feminine approach typical in this space, we created a bold, playful identity that resonates with the curious and unconventional seekers of plant medicine. The resulting brand feels both timeless and forward-thinking, much like the ancient plant wisdom Lucy on Earth shares.

The Website

The website for Lucy on Earth challenges the typical clinical approach of herbal medicine sites. Instead, we created an experience that captures the brand's unique balance of grounded wisdom and cosmic connection. The homepage leads with the brand's mission and values, creating an immediate emotional connection before guiding visitors to the Apothecary section. We integrated educational content through the Field Notes journal and built trust through testimonials and transparent sourcing information. The result is a digital space that feels both professional and deeply personal - much like LOE’s approach to plant medicine.
